I play in a band that knows a lot of Steely Dan tunes. I'm talking over forty Steely Dan songs. So, I have been heavily influenced by Steely Dan records, from both the musical content and sound quality standpoints.

I hear this as a jaunty fiddle tune with a chord progression reminiscent of Steely Dan. It makes me very happy to listen to. This works out great because for me, this is the whole point of composing music.
